Mangostin Facial Soap offers excellent radical scavenging properties and has strong antioxidant effects. Revitalizes the skin and gives a fresh appearance.
Mangostin is cultivated in the tropics and is called “Queen of Fruits” in Thailand. The mangosteen fruit contains natural antioxidants in high concentrations, so-called super antioxidants, as well as 12 vitamins. It has highly effective anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties and is used to heal skin rashes, eczema and many other skin irritations. Due to its richness in plant substances, such as xanthones, it has been used as a natural antibiotic in folk medicine in Thailand, China, Malaysia and other Asian countries for generations. Xanthones are secondary plant compounds that are produced in plants as colorants, fragrances and flavorings and have antioxidant effects in the body (i.e. they act as highly efficient free radical scavengers against free radicals); this results in antibacterial, antibiotic, anti-hepatotoxic, anti-allergic and antifungal properties for some xanthones.
