Mangostin is cultivated in the tropics and is called \u201cQueen of Fruits\u201d in Thailand. The mangosteen fruit contains natural antioxidants in high concentrations, so-called super antioxidants, as well as 12 vitamins. It has highly effective anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties and is used to heal skin rashes, eczema and many other skin irritations. Due to its richness in plant substances, such as xanthones, it has been used as a natural antibiotic in folk medicine in Thailand, China, Malaysia and other Asian countries for generations.
